Caring for someone who could not manage without you?
If you look after your partner, family member or friend, who could not manage without you due to physical or mental illness, disability, frailty, life-limiting illness or substance misuse problems, then you are an unpaid carer and we want to help you.
Once we are aware of your caring role and responsibilities, our dedicated Carer Lead is here to help and will let you know about the support that is available from the practice. For example, if we know that you are caring for someone we can:
Arrange flexible appointment times where possible
Offer you a free annual flu vaccination and health check
Offer you a referral to your local Carer Support Service, which provides free information, support and advice
Register with us today by completing our Carer Identification Form.
You can return your completed Carer Identification Form to Reception or email it directly to our Carer Lead Rosie O'Neill at: Rosieoneill@nhs.net
Patient Participation Group Meeting (PPG)
PPG meetings will be held regularly on the first Thursday of every month at 13.30. All registered patients are invited to participate. This meeting provides our patients with an opportunity to feedback on our services, thereby providing us with the required information to serve you better in future. Light refreshments will be provided during the meeting.
If you would like to know more about the PPG, please contact the surgery.
